In today’s economy, it is even more important for organizations to find new means of funding programs that are vital to continuing their mission. As a school librarian for several years, I dealt with the problems of not having enough money to support the services that I sought to provide. As a volunteer with several non-profit organizations, I also witnessed the need for additional moneys.
